Olejnik Media (Magazyn WIATR)

Wiatr – a magazine for sailors and the first free monthly about water sports – has been published since March 2010. The printed version is distributed to stores selling yachting equipment, clubs, harbours, marinas, taverns, Henri Lloyd stores, sailing schools, charter companies, selected hotels, sailing fairs and shanty festivals.

PDF version available on www.wiatr.pl page. Mobile editio for all types of tablets and smartphones application in App Store and Google Play available to download for free (application: WIATR).

The printed version is published In 18 000 copies. The electronic version enjoys ca. 9 000 downloads of the current issue. All advertisements published in the electronic version have direct links to the websites of the advertising parties.

The magazine Wiatr is monitorem by the Institute of Media Monitoring. It is complemented by the web portal which publishes news, articles, films and photo galleries.

Topics: tourism, sports, technology, interviews, reportage, editorials, presentations of yachts and shipyards, announcements of key events. An integral part of the magazine is the ‘Playboat’ section, dedicated to motor yachts. The magazine Wiatr is created by passionato enthusiasts of sailing and water sports. The editor-in-chief and publisher is Krzysztof Olejnik, a sailor, former regatta participant, two-time winner of the Polish journalists sailing championship, and a reporter working for many years for the Newsweek. The marketing director responsible for advertising is Agnieszka Olszak, a long-standing collaborator of the daily Polska The Times.
