DRAFTXL YACHT DESIGN STUDIO

DRAFTXL Yacht Design Studio is a place that combines a passion for creative yacht design with a holistic approach to the process of creating new shapes and solutions. What sets us apart from other design firms in Poland is that the art of yacht design is handled by designers who are graduates of renowned foreign art schools specializing in yacht design, and who have gained professional experience in international design offices. The concept of our design studio incorporates a dualism in the creative process, where designers create conceptual and execution designs, while engineers are responsible for technical designs.

The founder of DRAFTXL Yacht Design Studio, Andrzej Starużyk, began his career in design at the Faculty of Architecture at the Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice. His growing passion for yacht design, combined with the lack of specialized national training centers in this field, prompted Andrzej Starużyk to enhance his skills at Coventry University, where he studied Automotive and Transport Design with a specialization in yacht design. Subsequently, Andrzej gained professional experience in renowned design offices in France, England, and the Netherlands, where he worked at Vripack - one of the leading design firms, he designing yachts ranging from 5 to 68 meters in length.

His desire to create his own design office resulted in the establishment of DRAFTXL Yacht Design Studio in December 2020, which currently collaborates with yacht manufacturers both internationally and domestically, creating designs for brands such as Moon Yacht. During its operation, DRAFTXL Yacht Design Studio has designed several notable projects for the Polish market, including the Moon 90 Ft motor and sailing catamaran, the Moon 60 Ft motor and sailing catamaran, as well as 45 Ft motor yachts. Our office also executes projects for individual clients, helping them realize their dreams of a unique yacht.
